After years of searching the world for just the right case trimmer without success, our ballistic technicians demanded that BPI make this convenient and necessary tool. A threaded adjustment gauge in the Trim Doctor holds shells in alignment to produce a clean and crimpable edge. The Trim Doctor is designed to remove 1/4″ at a time (about the same as full fold crimp): 3″ shells become 2-3/4″, 2-3/4″ become 2-1/2″. Two full cuts on a 10 gauge shell produce a 2-7/8″ shell. Select the gauge of your new Trim Doctor; it comes with one gauge adaptor bushing.
Our new ExactaTrim adaptor bushings assure tight cuts with no spiraling and they are available in additional sizes to make your Trim Doctor even more versatility.
As a shell disassembly tool, the Trim Doctor works on any gauge, 10ga through .410. Just remove the threaded guide, insert loaded shell into opening and gently turn the shell while applying slight pressure to the blade guide. The top of shell will pop off cleanly after a few turns.
The Trim Doctor will pay for itself many times over by allowing you to retrieve components from reject shells and by allowing further firings out of many hulls with tired crimps.

Predominantly a 1-ounce wad, but also used with some 7/8-oz. loads. The soft, pliable cushion system is designed to provide the shooter with reduced recoil and to allow a wide range of load adjustment with a consistent level of wad pressure resistance. The CSD series of wads offer wide array of capacity options along with a revolutionary energy-absorbing cushion system. These multi-capacity, barrel protecting shotcups are designed for steel, tungsten, and large capacity lead field loads.
The CSD wad series combines easy loading with high performance results. CSD wads are not pre-slit. Ballistic Products recommends their Stainless Steel Wad Snips to cut the number of petals best suited for your shooting and intended range.
BPI WAD 28ga TPS NON-TOX 5/8 STEEL 3/4 ITX 100/BG
The TPS 28ga is a full-length shot column designed specifically for the rigors of modern non-toxic shot, like steel, ITX, and Hevi-Shot. Finally, a wad that will allow you to load almost any type of non-toxic shot for your modern 28ga shotgun. Designed for magnum field loads, the TPS 28 is the grand result of over two years of development.
Maximum capacities of smaller shot sizes are 1 oz. ITX Extreme-13 shot, 7/8 oz. ITX Original-10 shot, and 3/4 oz. steel shot. Capacity will vary greatly according to pellet size and these maximum weights will not necessarily yield the best loads; only testing results will render that decision.

Cheddite is the largest producer of shotgun hulls in the world. Imported from France, they are straight-walled which requires the use of wads designed for straight-walled hulls which are available from a number of manufacturers including Claybuster, Federal, and Downrange.
