Product Information
The .22 caliber 77 grain HPBT MatchKing is a cannelured version for the civilian market. Due to the fact that the 77 grain bullet is the heaviest magazine length tolerant .22 caliber bullet Sierra makes, it is a big favorite with the AR crowd. For years many customers requested that we sell a cannelured version for civilian use. Sierra is happy to have made that a reality for them.
While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.
This bullet requires a barrel TWIST rate of 8” or Faster.

Hornady V-MAX Bullets 22 Caliber (.224 Dia) (22 Hornet) 35 Grain Flat Base 100/Box
Product Information
Hornady’s V-Max Bullets feature a polymer tip which enhances accuracy and promotes devastating expansion. The tip raises the ballistic coefficient for faster velocity and helps to stabilize the bullet in flight. It also acts as a wedge, initiating bullet expansion. The copper jacket provides the necessary bearing surface for maximum stability out of the barrel, and the jacket is built to withstand the fast twist rates of the most advanced varmint rifles.

Product Information
MatchKing rifle bullets are super-accurate bullets with very thin jackets and are held to exacting tolerances in diameter and weight. Their accuracy has been acclaimed worldwide and they have been used to win more target competitions than all target bullets from other manufacturers combined. Weight retention is held to within +/- 0.3 grain. Sierra has enhanced a segment of the MatchKing line by adding the acetal resin tip, thus crowning the Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet line. The major advantage of adding a tip to the bullet is the reduction of drag, producing a more favorable ballistic coefficient. The Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet is an excellent choice for Palma and F-Class (FTR / F Open) matches, as well as 3-Gun and various other competitions. Another benefit is reliable feeding in magazine fed firearms.
Although the MatchKing line is recognized around the world for record setting accuracy, like their untipped counterparts, Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullets are not recommended for hunting anything larger than varmints. Having heavier jackets than the Hornet or Blitz line of bullets, these bullets will not provide the same explosive expansion on small varmints.

Speer 22cal (.224) 55gr TNT-HP BULLET 100/Box
Varmint shooting is a demanding sport. Tiny targets at long ranges test the shooter's skill, equipment, and ammo. That's why we make TNT bullets. Starting with thin, precision jackets, we add internal fluting and a dead-soft lead core to ensure complete bullet disruption. We finish the forming with a long ogive and a small hollow point. This gives us the ballistic coefficients needed for long shots. In fact, TNT's coefficients rival those of similar boat tail bullets. Accuracy and great terminal performance.
