These .224 diameter, 55 grain hollow point boat tail bullets have a serrated cannelure manufactured in the USA. These projectiles feature a copper drawn jacket and an all lead core in a boat tail profile. Â These will make exceptional 5.56 Nato or .223 Remington loads for punching paper or varmint hunting. Â The hollow point is small and the shape/profile is designed to feed reliably from a magazine in AR platforms. In handguns chambering cartridges in 22 caliber, the 52 grain #1410 MatchKing® bullets often deliver superior accuracy in target competition.
While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

Starting with thin, precision jackets, we add internal fluting and a dead-soft lead core to ensure complete bullet disruption. We finish the forming with a long ogive and a small hollow point. This gives us the ballistic coefficients needed for long shots. In fact, TNT's coefficients rival those of similar boat tail bullets. Accuracy and great terminal performance.
