These revolutionary bullets from Barnes are made of 100% copper and contain no lead. When the bullet expands, four razor-sharp cutting petals are created, allowing the bullet to penetrate farther through tough bone and tissue. These bullets usually retain 100% of their original weight, making them a superb choice for hunting. Barnes recommends initially seating bullets 0.050" off the lands. Best accuracy will be found from 0.030" to 0.070" depending on the rifle. This is NOT LOADED ammunition.

Berry's Preferred Plated bullets begin as a swaged lead core. The swaged lead cores are tumbled in an electrically charged bath containing high-grade copper ingots. The copper clings to the lead and the longer the bullets remain in the bath, the thicker the plating. The bullets are plated to the correct size and then taken out of the bath. Plated bullets are not as expensive as jacketed bullets. They are cleaner than lead but you'll want to stay away from magnum velocities when loading plated bullets. This is NOT LOADED ammunition Note: (When loading these plated rifle bullets do not exceed a max velocity of 1950 fps.)

Hornady 30cal (.308) 150gr FMJBT Bullet 100/Box
Hornady’s Full Metal Jacket bullets replicate the bullets used in military “ball” ammunition. Full Metal Jacket Bullets are designed so that the bullet is completely encased in a hard metal jacket (except for the base), which is not intended to expand upon impact. The Boat Tail design is to provide a flatter trajectory and long range performance by raising the ballistic coefficient.
