Prvi Partizan was founded in 1928 and today produces over 350 types of rifle, pistol , revolver and small arms ammunition. Prvi Partizan bulk bullets feature a lead core and copper jacket. Imported from Serbia. In rifles, this bullet was designed for the venerable 30-30 Winchester cartridge, and features a jacket tailored specifically to 30-30 velocities. The cannelure on each bullet is precisely located to provide the proper over-all-length (OAL) for fast, trouble-free feeding. The bullet weight performs admirably on deer-sized game and is suited to larger deer and black bear at shorter ranges. PowerJacket construction assures reliable expansion with good penetration. Though designed for the 30-30 cartridge, the use of these bullets is not restricted to that cartridge. Speer boat tail bullets are designed for long-range shooting. The tapered heel that gives the bullet type its name reduces aerodynamic drag for flatter trajectories. The boat tails are designed for more rapid expansion than Hot-Cor, so they are an excellent choice for whitetail deer and antelope. In the larger calibers, they are great for long shots at just about any non-dangerous game. Like Speer’s other hunting bullets, the jackets taper from a thicker shank section to a thin nose section to keep retained weights high.
