The Nosler Partition is still the benchmark by which all modern bullets are measured. Nosler’s special lead-alloy, dual-core provides superior mushrooming characteristics at virtually all impact velocities. The fully tapered copper-alloy jacket ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth, yet the gradual thickening along the bullet’s axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward at high and low velocities. Nosler’s integral partition supports the expanded mushroom and retains the rear lead-alloy core. The enclosed rear core retains more than two-thirds of the original bullet weight for deep penetration. Every Partition® bullet in the Nosler® line delivers optimum length, weight and ogive design for maximum in-flight and terminal performance. This is NOT LOADED ammunition.
SIERRA 7MM(.284)150g HPBT BULLET MATCHKING 100/Box
The 150 grain #1915 bullet has a large following in rifle silhouette competition, especially for the first three banks, chickens, pigs and turkeys. This bullet also has a loyal following in Hunter Benchrest target shooting.
In handguns, this bullet has been used widely for handgun silhouettes and other target competitions. They deliver outstanding accuracy, high momentum downrange, and low sensitivity to crosswinds.
While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.
