SIERRA 22(.223)40g HORNET BULLET VARMINTER 100/bx
$50.00
Product Information
For rifles, this bullet was formed with a thin-walled jacket and soft core in the traditional roundnose shape for cartridges such as the 22 Hornet, 22 K-Hornet, or 218 Bee at muzzle velocities in the 2600 to 2900 fps range. The thin jacket and rounded nose of this bullet provides outstanding accuracy and effective expansion on small varmints at these modest velocities. The bullet is ideal for barrels with 1x16” twist rates and muzzle velocities that require a “short” bullet for proper stability. It is also effective in rifles firing medium-capacity cartridges, such as the 222 Remington and 223 Remington, for target and varmint shooting at muzzle velocities up to 3500 fps.
For handguns, this bullet with a thin jacket and lots of exposed lead is ideal for all centerfire cartridges in 22 caliber. It will range in expansion from being a varmint bullet at Hornet handgun velocities to an explosive “Blitz” style Varminter at 223 Remington velocities. The bullets with a round nose shape are capable of outstanding accuracy, especially at short to moderate ranges.

SIERRA 22(.224) 52gr HPBT BULLET MATCHKING 100/Box
$41.75
Product Information:
For rifles, the 52 grain #1410 bullet offers the shooter all the advantages of a boat tail design for 200 to 300 yard competition.
In handguns chambering cartridges in 22 caliber, the 52 grain #1410 MatchKing® bullets often deliver superior accuracy in target competition.
While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

Product Information
TMJ® Rifle Bullets
Speer® TMJ® stands in a category all its own. Standard FMJ bullets sacrifice accuracy by adding a separate piece of jacket to cover the bullet base—or leave exposed lead. TMJ rifle bullets totally encapsulate the lead core for cleaner, more accurate performance.
- Seamless jacket totally encases the bullet’s lead core
- Design eliminates the accuracy-robbing features of conventional full metal jacket bullets
- Reduces fouling and airborne lead
