All Dillon Pistol Die sets include our sizer/ decap die, seat die and a separate crimp die. (Taper crimp for autos; accu-crimp for revolvers.)Our sizing/depriming dies feature a unique ''floating decap assembly'' with a snap spring that throws the spent primer off the pin and eliminates the problem of primer ''draw back'' that often occurs when decapping military brass. The primary feature of Dillon's size die design the long, tapered carbide ring with a radiused opening remains unchanged.Our new quick-disassembly seat die allows the user to disassemble and clean the seat die without losing adjustment. We've incorporated a ''flip-flop'' seating stem and a clip that enables you to remove the die insert and change the seating stem from round nose to semi-wadcutter without unscrewing a seating stem out of the die body. We've always included both types of seating stems, but the new double-ended design makes it a simple matter to remove a pin, reverse the seating stem, make any minor seating depth adjustments that may be necessary and go on loading in a fraction of the time it used to take.We've made it easy for you to remove the die insert for cleaning without having to change the critical crimp adjustment. Once your crimp die is set for the proper amount of crimp, you'll never have to change it.

We use a solid carbide insert, ground to a special contour that does not leave a belt mark on the case like other carbide dies. With a carbide sizer, no case lube is needed. Sizer also features an unbreakable decapper and built-in stuck case remover. The Powder Through Expanding Die permits charging the case while expanding the case mouth. The Bullet Seat and Feed Die features a free floating bullet seater to insure maximum accuracy.

Lee U Carbide Small Base Sizing Dies are great for reloaders looking for ultimate feeding reliability in their handgun. These dies undersize brass between .002″ and .003″ smaller than other Lee Carbide Sizing dies. Ammunition with undersized brass cases will chamber each and every time it is loaded out of a magazine giving reliable chambering each time a round is stripped out of the magazine or loaded into a cylinder. Competition shooters rely on having ammunition that will feed and chamber each round of ammunition as it is stripped out of the magazine. One of the other benefits reloaders have reported when using Lee U dies is increased consistency and accuracy in loaded rounds because these dies help increase and provide more consistent neck tension on loaded bullets. The solid carbide insert inside of these dies is ground to a special contour that does not leave a belt mark on the case. These carbide dies do not require lubricant while resizing, though a little case lube will make the sizing process easier. Shellholder sold separately.
