Hornady’s CGND sizing dies feature a TiN (Titanium Nitride) coated sizing ring. This ring eliminates case sticking and requires no lubrication. The super hard, smooth coating is used in high-pressure, high-wear tools to reduce abrasion, so it’s perfect for resizing pistol brass and won’t scratch your cases. The system includes a floating bullet alignment sleeve, a floating steel seating stem and a built-in crimper for benchrest precision. Bullets are aligned in the sleeve as they enter the die for optimum seating and enhanced accuracy. The built-in crimper gives you the option of crimping without the need for an extra crimp die, saving a station on your press. Also included, Hornady Sure-Loc lock rings clamp around the entire die applying constant pressure across the threads to hold the ring in place. Lee U Carbide Small Base Sizing Dies are great for reloaders looking for ultimate feeding reliability in their handgun. These dies undersize brass between .002″ and .003″ smaller than other Lee Carbide Sizing dies. Ammunition with undersized brass cases will chamber each and every time it is loaded out of a magazine giving reliable chambering each time a round is stripped out of the magazine or loaded into a cylinder. Competition shooters rely on having ammunition that will feed and chamber each round of ammunition as it is stripped out of the magazine. One of the other benefits reloaders have reported when using Lee U dies is increased consistency and accuracy in loaded rounds because these dies help increase and provide more consistent neck tension on loaded bullets.
