This was the bullet that started it all. Produced by pressure-forming pure copper tubing around a pure lead core, this highly reliable bullet was the first custom bullet available to American handloaders. Introduced in 1939, it was long the favorite of professional hunters who demanded performance they could depend on, each and every time. On impact, Barnes’s Original bullets typically expand to more than 200 percent of their original diameter and retain 70 to 90 percent of their original weight.
The Barnes Original is a true hunting bullet generations of sportsmen have relied on.
- Pure copper tubing jacket
- Pure lead core
- Controlled expansion
- Deep penetration

Berry’s – 30-30 (.308) 150gr BULLET RSFP 100/Bag
Product Information
Berry's Preferred Plated bullets begin as a swaged lead core. The swaged lead cores are tumbled in an electrically charged bath containing high-grade copper ingots. The copper clings to the lead and the longer the bullets remain in the bath, the thicker the plating. The bullets are plated to the correct size and then taken out of the bath. Plated bullets are not as expensive as jacketed bullets. They are cleaner than lead but you'll want to stay away from magnum velocities when loading plated bullets. This is NOT LOADED ammunition Note: (When loading these plated rifle bullets do not exceed a max velocity of 1950 fps.)Berry’s – 30M1 CARBINE (.308) 110gr RN BULLET 1000/Box
Product Information
Berry’s bullets begin with a precision-swaged lead core to ensure uniformity. They are then fused with a thick layer of high-grade copper to the core - making Berry’s bullets as accurate as they are attractive. This is NOT LOADED ammunition. Product Information
Hornady has taken their match bullet engineering to the next level. All of their match bullets now feature their AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Process) bullet Jackets. What are bullet jackets? AMP jackets are a technological advancement in design, tooling and manufacturing that when all put together produce the most consistently concentric bullet jackets available. These new jackets have virtually zero tolerance for concentricity and near zero wall thickness variation. When you combine this technology with a precision swaged lead core and the tightest standards in the industry you get a match bullet that will flat out shoot! Note: Hornady does not recommend match bullets for hunting Features- AMP Bullet Jackets
- Secant Ogive Profile delivering low drag and flat trajectories
- Swaged lead core providing uniformity and consistency
- Boat Tail to maximize ballistic coefficient and deliver unmatched accuracy at long ranges
Hornady – 30cal (.308) 168gr A-Max BULLET 100/Box
Product Information:
The A-Max may be the most technologically advanced bullet ever designed. The aerodynamic secant ogive profile, sharp, pointed tip and unmatched concentricity give it an extremely high ballistic coefficient for near perfection in flight. After closely studying the performance of bullets for more than half a century, Hornady has incorporated every aspect of what makes a bullet accurate into the A-Max. Every part of the bullet, from the ultra-low drag tip to the angle of the boat tail base is engineered to help you print your tightest groups ever. The A-Max advanced match design is intended for use in premium quality rifles with match chambers and throats. Featuring Hornady's Advanced Manufacturing Process (AMP) bullet jacket technology. Paired with a precision swaged lead core, the A-Max bullets feature a technologically advanced jacket that produce exceptional accuracy. Sierra – Tipped MatchKing 168 Grain Polymer Tip 500/Box
Product Information
Sierra MatchKing rifle bullets are super-accurate bullets with very thin jackets and are held to exacting tolerances in diameter and weight. Their accuracy has been acclaimed worldwide and they have been used to win more target competitions than all target bullets from other manufacturers combined. Weight retention is held to within /- 0.3 grain. Sierra has enhanced a segment of the MatchKing line by adding the acetal resin tip, thus crowning the Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet line. The major advantage of adding a tip to the bullet is the reduction of drag, producing a more favorable ballistic coefficient. Due to the ballistic advantage that the tip provides, the 168 Tipped MatchKing (TMK) will stay supersonic at 1,000 yards at normal .308 Winchester velocities, unlike its untipped counterpart. The Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet is an excellent choice for Palma and F-Class (FTR / F Open) matches, as well as 3-Gun and various other competitions. Although the MatchKing line is recognized around the world for record setting accuracy, like their untipped counterparts, Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullets are not recommended for hunting anything larger than varmints.
