Soft point 22 Hornet ammunition is available for the 22 Hornet and is the ammunition of choice for most hunting uses with this chambering. Soft point bullets do not have their lead cores completely enclosed by a metal jacket; rather, the gilding metal jacket ends toward the bullet's tip exposing the lead core.
