The LRX-Hunter also has additional windage holds spaced 2 MOA apart to assist when conditions get tough. The bright fiber optic center dot gives a sharp aim point for quick reference and target acquisition. The thick outer posts make visibility easy when hunting in low-light conditions. The lightweight unitized design eliminates the possibility of an "out of alignment" interface or "loose connection" between the ring and base of traditional two piece designs. Ultimately this provides more strength and durability than rival steel rings and bases but doing it with a lighter overall weight. By extruding the 7000 series alloy known for its durability then precision CNC machining the mount to its final design, it provides the strongest, lightest mount system on the market.
