The new Type S – Bushing Style Neck Sizing Die provides reloaders with a simple means to precisely control case neck size and tension. Uses interchangeable sizing bushings (sold separately) available in .001″ increments. The adjustable decapping rod allows positioning the bushing to resize only a portion of the neck length if desired. Concentricity is enhanced by the ability of the resizing bushing to self-center on the case neck. The decapping rod is supplied with a standard size button. A decapping pin retainer is also supplied with all Type S – Bushing Dies. This enables neck sizing without the use of the size button for those who sort and/or turn case necks for uniformity. Includes: Type S Bushing Style Neck Sizing Die, body die, competition seater die, spare decapping pin and hex wrench. Shellholder sold separately.

We use a solid carbide insert, ground to a special contour that does not leave a belt mark on the case like other carbide dies. With a carbide sizer, no case lube is needed. •Lee Precision includes the expander appropriate for a .308 diameter bullet. Nearly everyone that reloads the 7.62×54 /7.62×53 uses the .308 diameter bullet. The availability and selection of .308 bullets are far greater than .311. In military issue ammo they used a .309 to .311 diameter bullet. The smaller expander is included as standard issue as it is usable for .308 as well as .310 diameter bullets if the larger expander was installed it would not be usable with smaller .308 diameter bullets. The limited amount of load data that is available usually is worked up using .308 diameter bullets.
