An excellent target bullet for the 303 Lee-Enfield service rifles, the #2315 is well appreciated by shooters in England, Canada and Australia.
While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

The Round Nose design of these Hot-Cor bullets promote reliable expansion even at lower velocities. Used primarily for close range hunting in thick cover, these bullets also feature Speer's special Hot-Cor construction which eliminates the lead oxide layer that's found between the core and jacket of conventional "cold core" bullets, virtually eliminating jacket slippage. This translates into a bullet that offers deeper penetration and greater expansion that is needed for taking larger game. This is NOT LOADED ammunition
