The TTSX bullet adds a streamlined polymer tip to the company’s best-selling Triple-Shock X Bullet. The polymer tip and re-engineered nose cavity mean even faster expansion. The tip also boosts BC, improving long-range ballistics. The Tipped TSX™ features a 100-percent copper, lead-free body. Multiple rings cut into the shank relieve pressures and virtually eliminate copper fouling. The rings also contribute to the bullet’s outstanding accuracy. Hydraulic pressure forces the nose of the TTSX bullet open, causing it to expand instantly on contact. Double-diameter expansion creates four cutting petals that wreak extensive internal damage. The bullet retains virtually 100 percent of its original weight as it produces pass-through penetration. Count on this bullet to exit the far side of deer or elk, even when heavy bones are struck. The unique tapered jacket and proprietary bonding process of the AccuBond®-Long Range (LR) bullet permits rapid expansion for effective energy transfer and maximum weight retention allowing for deep penetration and significant tissue damage across a broad range of velocities. Engineered for devastating performance at all practical distances, the bullet’s sleek, high-performance boat-tail base combined with the polymer tip and long ogive provides accuracy, consistency and the down range punch necessary for clean kills in any situation. This bullet is the best long-range hunting bullet in 6.5 mm caliber. Exceptional accuracy, excellent ballistic shape, and adequate weight for medium and heavy game make this a truly exceptional bullet. This bullet is at its best in country like the wide open western prairie where shots are long and conditions difficult. It has a flat trajectory, great ability to resist crosswinds and vertical winds, and high energy delivery downrange. The bullet performs very well from any 6.5 mm cartridge with medium to large powder capacity, but it is at its absolute best from magnum rifles with maximum hunting loads. Shooters around the world will appreciate the accuracy and extreme long range performance of our new 6.5mm 150 grain HPBT (#1755).  A sleek 27 caliber elongated ogive and a final meplat reducing operation (pointing) provide an increased ballistic coefficient for optimal wind resistance and velocity retention.  To ensure precise bullet to bore alignment, a unique bearing surface to ogive junction uses the same 1.5 degree angle commonly found in many match rifle chamber throats. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications.  Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.
