The Hawke Frontier ED X Compact 15–35×56 spotting scope combines premium optics with a rugged, travel‑ready design. Its Extra‑Low Dispersion (ED) glass, lanthanum ocular elements and phase corrected BAK‑4 roof prism deliver exceptional clarity, color accuracy and edge-to-edge sharpness, enhanced further by super wide-angle optics and a flat-field view.
A wide band, anti-reflective, fully multi‑coated optical system ensures bright, high‑contrast images even in challenging light. Designed for fast, intuitive use, it features a smooth barrel focus ring and a comfortable twist-up eye cup.

Registered reticle design exclusive to Hawke. Bullet Drop Compensating (BDC) aim points calculated for your specific caliber. Easy to zero and outstanding downrange accuracy with illuminated aim points for all lighting conditions. Distances etched into the reticle field of view. Designed for .22 LR of all speeds, it can be used at 16x magnification for High Velocity ammo and 12.1x magnification for Standard Velocity ammo. Zero at 50 yards and the bullet drop compensating reticle provides accurate aim points in 25 yard increments out to 200 yards. It can also be used on lower magnification for distances in metres (13.9x for High Velocity ammo and 10.5x for Standard Velocity ammo).

Vortex Hunter Rings
Made from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, Vortex Hunter Rings are lightweight without sacrificing durability and strength. Each ring clamps down on the scope with the standard 2-screw setup and mounts to either Picatinny or Weaver style rails.
These rings position the centre of the riflescope tube at a height of 1.22 inches (31mm) from the base. Comes with a pair of rings.
Recommended Torque Specs:
- Base Clamp Thumb Screws - 25-30 in/lbs
- Ring Screws - 15 in/lbs
